About the Retreat:

This is a unique holiday that will provide Aerial Yoga and Vinyasa Flow practice in a stunning natural setting in Montenegro. The retreat is about cultivating well-being through anti-gravity, gravity movement and insight. You will learn how to heal yourself from the inside through meditation and scientifically sound Yogic practices.

Practice meditation and enjoy our healthy Mediterranean meals in a comfortable villa in the mountains with a stunning sea view of the Southwest Coast of Montenegro. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit some of the most spectacular places in the world such as Kotor – Unesco Heritage, whilst exploring the culture and tradition of Montenegro.

In the morning you will practice Vinyasa Flow – an organic moving meditation with gentle and smooth transitions between each yoga position. The consistent every day yoga practice will empower and regenerate your body and mind, help to release tension from your body while building strength and flexibility.

The meditation such as: Yoga Nidra, Body Scan, walking meditation, visualisation will be a part of each yoga practice to balance your nervous system and find the deep connection with your inner self.

In the evening you’ll practice Aerial Yoga which draws from the alignment and techniques of traditional yoga, using a low hanging, wide aerial sling. It’s the most powerful yoga therapy with an immediate effect. It helps to increase incredibly the strength and flexibility and gives a peace of mind. Once you’re drawn to the experience your wellbeing will improve instantly.

The order of practices can change according to the weather conditions and the preferences of the participants.

In the meantime, there will be walking, sunbathing, swimming in the sea and sightseeing activities to nourish your mind and feed your heart.

REJUVENATE with YOGA in Montenegro

 

The yoga and meditation you’ll practice on the terrace of the property where you are going to stay with an unforgettable sea view. You’ll experience the most outstanding sunsets and sunrises with a spectacular sea view just by looking out of your window.

You will have a pleasure of resting by the sea, swimming, walking along the variety of beaches in the most remarkable places in Montenegro. You will be treated to a delicious healthy homemade food.

You’ll have a chance to explore the most visited attraction in Montenegro – The Unesco World Heritage Site – Ancient town – Kotar 20 min away by car from the property. You can visit this beautiful town and go for a hike in the mountains to see the most remarkable scenic view.

In the bay of Kotor is located the coastal town Tivat of southwest Montenegro and Porto Montenegro where you can go for a cup of tea or a meal. Many of the cafes and restaurants are Italian.

Your teacher is Joanna Puchala

 

Joanna is an aerialist, contemporary dancer/choreographer, pilates, barre, yogalates, yoga dance, aerial/yoga teacher and yoga therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety based in London. She leads international workshops and retreats.
Joanna has twenty years of experience in different mind-body practices such as yoga (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow), pilates and contemporary dance. She teaches the mind-body practices that focus on core strength, flexibility and allow for self-expression, body toning and deep connection between body and mind. As a Yoga Therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety trainedation where science meets spirituality and expression unleashes ecstasy in beautiful Southwest Montenegro! with Minded Institute, she uses other techniques to stimulate the body and mind, such as pilates and free/flow/improvised movement to release the stress and calm down the nervous system.
