ITALY AERIAL/YOGA RETREAT
This is a unique holiday that will provide aerial yoga and yoga practice on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. The retreat is about cultivating well-being through anti-gravity, gravity movement and insight. You will learn how to heal yourself from the inside through meditation and yogic practices.
Start your day at sunrise with yoga and finish it at sunset with aerial yoga. Practice meditation and enjoy our healthy Mediterranean meals in a rustic house in the mountains with a stunning sea view of the Amalfi Coast. Don’t miss this opportunity to visit some of the most spectacular places in the world (Amalfi, Positano, Ravello) whilst exploring the culture and tradition of the South Italy.
Your days will be full of relaxation immersed in the natural setting of the country side near Sorrento. You’ll practice yoga (Vinyasa Flow) and aerial yoga once a day. You’ll meditate surrounded by the trees and plants with a stunning sea view. You will swim in the sea in the bluest waters of south Italy – Tyrrhenian Sea.
Excursions to Positano, Amalfi, Ravello will be available on request.
We can also organise for you the trekking along the Path of the Gods – the most incredible trail with a stunning Amalfi Coast view.
You will practice aerial yoga techniques that will allow you to decompress your spine, quickly strengthen and stretch your body, re-balance your nervous system and alleviate short and long term stress, whilst developing a strong awareness of body and mind.
You will flow with Vinyasa yoga practices. The gentle and dynamic meditative yoga will help you release tension from your body and find the peace of mind, whilst building strength and flexibility.
You will practice yoga and aerial yoga at sunset and sunrise in a villa on the Amalfi Coast
Joanna is a movement artist, mind-body practitioner and instructor. Her base is in London but in her heart she is a Wellbeing nomad who travels around the world where she explores the most hidden third world cultures and connects with the most amazing people. She leads international workshops, trainings and retreats.
Joanna has 20 years of experience in different Mind/Body practices such as Yoga (Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow), Pilates and Contemporary dance. She teaches Vinyasa flow that focuses on core strength, aids flexibility and allows for self-expression, body toning and a deep connection between body and mind. As a Yoga Therapist for mental health, depression and anxiety she uses other techniques to stimulate the body and mind, such as: Pilates and Free/Flow/Improvised Movement to release stress and calm the nervous system.
As a highly qualified Aerial Yoga instructor she teaches very unique aerial yoga techniques which integrate breathing and meditation with a strong, flowing, dynamic and therapeutic aerial yoga practice. She helps people with back problems, mental issues such as anxiety and depressions by promoting the most detoxifying practice for the body (injuries prevention and recovery) and mind.
