Hello,

We are working on organising The Social Arts Festival: an evening of dance, art and performance aimed at raising awareness of social issues and the violation of human rights.

The 2 day event is in collaboration with FlowMove, a movement and well-being company and the performing arts association “LCP Dance Theatre” founded by Joanna Puchała. We want to create a platform for professional and amateur artists who can craft their own choreographies and share them with an audience. 

Each performance will raise awareness of inequality or violation of human rights such as racism, human trafficking, refugees issues and any other issue that is close to your heart. The event is open to anyone who wants to join, regardless of whether you are a professional performer or not but. Anyone is welcome to join and share their creativity and to shed light on a social issue.

As we are a self-funded organisation we would like to ask you for a contribution to make the event happen and to guarantee you a spot.

Event dates:
13th and20th of October (8-10pm) at the Lodge Space

Dress rehearsal:
13 and20th Oct 4.30-7.30pmat the Lodge.Space

We will arrange your spot according to the length of your choreography but until we confirm the schedule it would be good if you could make yourself available for all the time of the dress rehearsal.

Deadlines 
The deadline for early bird applications26th August midnight. The deadline for all the applications and to share all the info is7th of September.
Application
In your application please include: 

• your contact details (full name, email address)
• your social media handles (FB/Twitter/instagram/YouTube)
• 100 words description of the piece (please include any human right/social issues you would like to bring up)
• the length of the piece (any from 5 min up to 60min)
• if you have any link - article/ video trailer/ social media / website info 
• 50 words bio
• 2 pics: one headshot and one artistic 

We will use the material provided for publicity.

If you don’t have the piece yet you can briefly describe what would you like to create and for how long. Once you’ve got more info you can send us by7th of Sept.
